QLASSIC is an independent assessment system implemented by CIDB Malaysia to evaluate the quality of building works in Malaysia. A QLASSIC score and certificate will be generated to represent the quality of works for a project. Nowadays, QLASSIC Score is no longer merely a scoring system to benchmark the quality of project but to evaluate the performance of a contractor as well as a marketing tool to give assurance to the house buyers on the quality of works that delivered for a building project.

Thus, it is an essential and a must for a property developer or a building contractor to familiar and understands the QLASSIC Assessment approach and quality criteria stipulated in the standard before submission of tender and commencement of works with the QLASSIC requirements. Moreover, QLASSIC Assessment is found to be very similar and equivalent with the CONQUAS 21 Assessment System from Singapore.

As this is a one-off assessment and no reassessment is allowed, thus, it is recommended to have a sampling Pre-Assessment been carried out prior actual CONQUAS or QLASSIC Assessment. An indicative score, analysis and areas of improvement will be highlighted in our independent Pre-CONQUAS or QLASSIC Assessment Report to assist the developer and the contractor to under the areas of improvement and to achieve the better score in the actual assessment.
